Auto A/C unit delayed coming on for about a month anywhere from a couple minutes to six to eight minutes. Took the car to Modern and they tested system and found that a magnetic valve was defective and replaced it, flushed and refilled the system and it works great for less than $250!!! He was every concerned about what I went through at his shop and was very apologetic, and shared a genuine interest in my feelings. I found him to be fair, honest and sincere, he said that all his mechanics are certified and have been with him for years. He explained that when they disconnected my battery as they needed too something went wrong with the throttle body maybe it got disloged somehow, it really doesn't matter to me because he has offered to pay for the reprogramming of it and also the rental and gas I had to use. I feel that this is more then fair. So I for one would go back to Modern Auto Air if I needed too, acclimates of appreciation goes out to you Modern Auto Air for making a bad situation good, and by the way the evaporator is working GREAT it has never been so cold.
