OUC provides electric and water services to nearly 230,000 customers in Orlando, St. Cloud and parts of unincorporated Orange and Osceola counties.

To support its innovative OUCooling initiative, a service enabling commercial property owners to outsource the production of chilled water for their air conditioning, OUC needed a partner that could manage maintenance for five major chiller plants. With over 500 chillers under contract and a long history of reducing facility costs through preventive maintenance agreements, Hill York was hired in 2013 to anchor a service and maintenance program ensuring the reliable delivery of more than 35,000 tons of chilled water to multiple businesses and locations. Of particular relevance to the OUC was Hill York’s expertise in overseeing maintenance programs that fulfill fiscal budgets and minimize downtime caused by equipment breakdowns. OUCooling’s diverse commercial customers who depend on the economy and security of chilled water plant cooling include Lockheed Martin, the upscale Mall at Millenia, the community of Laureate Park at Lake Nona, and the Orange County Convention Center.
