Is an attractive window air conditioner an oxymoron (where is Dieter Rams when we need him?). I thought so until I spotted a Friedrich Kuhl series window unit in a project by Remodelista Architect/Designer Directory member Messana O’Rorke, who spec’ed one in a lower Manhattan loft.
