why would ac unit freeze up

THIS IS BECAUSE OF MOTHERBOARD PROBLEM, U NEED TO REPLACE CAPACITOR PACK WHICH IS AVILABLE BOTTOM OF MBD. 100% ok............go to safe mode in windows ,, go to ,cantrol panel ... go to device manger and disable both processor 100% pc will ok OMMMGGG I THINK I HAVE THE SOLUTION TO THIS!!!!!! WELL I HAVE HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY MSI GAMING COMPUTER FOR SOOO LONG!!! WHAT I DID WAS GO TO -THEN GO TO BATTERY -THEN DISABLE Microsoft AC Adapter and Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery after you do this you will see that the battery notification thing on the bottom right of the screen goes away... but it will still run and still charge your battery if you plug in your charger. As an owner of this laptop, and as someone who does computer work for spare $$- it sounds as though the actual internal connection may have broken (where the power pin is inserted)...It's possible that the solder has broken/cracked & this may be causing a short. I'm only guessing (obviously)- but based on what you've said here, there's not much else...
You did say you "replaced the cable"- but did you actually replace the entire power unit, or just the one cord? Places like the large electronics shops (Best Buy, etc) have generic chargers that run around $80US. Ask to verify it will power your unit- if it doesn't work- don't buy it. Lastly, I bought a generic, new, replacement battery on ebay for $38. I had that problem (restarted when plugged in) I disabled both processors and for a time it was good, but after sometime the problem came back again, so I took the laptop to a repair shop told them what was the problem and that they needed to replace the NEC/TOKIN OE128 Proadlizer Capacitor, they did that, I paid 86 euros and the problem is gone. All is fine now. please you do not need to change the mother board, all you need to do is go to control panel then power option then put it to high power or maximum then see how it behaves, go to safe mode in windows ,, go to ,cantrol panel ... go to device manger and disable both processor 100% pc will ok saved a Toshiba Satellite A305 with Windows 7 64-bit from being thrown in the garbage.
Not too sure, but I'm thinking this refers to reducing the max performance the CPU will operate at? I've read this in other places, as well. All I can think is that, at the 100% setting, the motherboard in question is overheating- or that the CPU is unable to sustain a 100% output (defective/overheating perhaps due to improper heatsink placement?). So, by going into the performance/power settings, you're able to reduce the high-end of the CPU from 100% to whatever you'd like (say, 75%). It may slow the PC a bit, but it's better slower than "dead"? Your Laptop will definitely be OK . Just try this - In the search box write services and click. Go to power options in rigth hand side of the services box. In General category change start up type from AUTOMATIC to DISABLED. Click Apply - Ok. Your problem is solved. You need to take to a shop and replace the "NEC/TOKIN OE128 Proadlizer Capacitor" or do it yourself if you can do it yourself. I took it to a shop payed 80 euros (in Portugal) and I've never had that problem again.

My wife and I were starting to sweat. We did not have the rear "aux" system turned on. We tried taking the system off "auto", turning up the fan motor, turning system off to rest it, etc etc, but nothing worked. We ended up cranking the rear aux system (which was working) to lower the temps and make the rest of the trip somewhat bearable. The next day the front AC worked fine on short twips around town so I know we are not low on freon or anything. On the return trip home, same problem. No front AC after about 4-5 hours of driving in hot weather. Called dealer's service dept who said he had never heard of this problem, but admitted the Enclave does have a series of odd things breaking down. Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions before I take it in to be looked at and lose my car for a day or two?See AlsoHow Your A/C System Works I Am posting here because i wanted to offer support about the problems you shared. Thank you for posting . i felt alone with my issues about my truck.
I too am having A/C problems. I took it to the dealer today and they told me that i was not covered under warranty and that i would have to pay $120 just to have them look at it!!! I felt so angry because this sh#t shouldn't be happening on a 2008. I had a 1993 Colt Vista, the a/c in there needed freon and it was still working when we donated it. Today i felt defeated by my lack of understanding for car mechanics but what really hurt the most was that this was the first brand new car i ever bought and i have had so many problems with that i have not really enjoyed the "NEW CAR EXPERIENCE." :confuse: Wht happened?????If so, AC Leakfreeze™ is the refrigeration repair and air conditioning solution for you.
