which ac unit should i buy

Benefits of Inverter Air Conditioning Inverter air conditioning is more expensive than non inverter air conditioning but with the current spiralling energy costs, is it worth the extra ££s? Let's see what are the benefits of an inverter air conditioning compared with a non inverter air conditioning:- At least 30% - 50% cheaper to run as it consumes less power Far quicker to achieve desired temperature The start up time is reduced by 30% No temperature fluctuations, maximising comfort level No voltage peaks from compressor All EcoAir inverter air conditioning are heat pumps which in itself is one of the most energy efficient form of heating Is it worth paying more for an inverter air conditioning? So, in summary an inverter air conditioning can reduce your energy bill.  It will be worth paying more for an inverter air conditioning if you use your air conditioning for:- With energy costs now running at approximately 12p per kWh and still rising there is no doubt this will save you ££s in the long run.
What is the difference between inverter and non inverter air conditioning units?Non inverter or Fixed speed air conditioning deliver a fixed amount of power via a fixed speed. This means the compressor has to stop and start to maintain the desired room temperature. Inverter air conditioning system, varies the speed of the compressors, delivering precise cooling or heating power as required. How does Inverter Air Conditioning work? The amount of cooling or heating required by an air conditioning unit varies depending on the outdoor temperature and the amount of heat in the room. When the cooling or heating capacity needs to be increased, the compressor will operate at a high speed and will increase the amount of refrigerant flow. Conversely, during moderate outside temperatures for example, when the cooling and heating capacity needs to be decreased, the compressor will operate at a low speed and will decrease the amount of refrigerant flow. When the inverter air conditioning is switched on, the compressor operates at a high speed in order to cool or heat the room quickly.
As the room temperature approaches the set temperature, the compressor slows down, maintaining a constant temperature and saving energy. Any sudden fluctuation in the room temperature, will be sensed and instantly adjusted to bring the room temperature back to the set temperature. how central ac units workEcoAir inverter air conditioning use between 30-50% less electricity to operate.what size ac unit does my house need I want to buy a inverter air conditioning unit .best ac unit in the market All split air conditioning units contain F Gas and is govern by F-Gas regulations. All F-Gas units must be handle by qualified F-Gas engineers. Portable Air Conditioning | Air Conditioning Installation | Unit 7, Propeller Park, 400 North Circular Road, London NW10 0AB     |

Rising electricity tariffs are hurting people and most people understand that air conditioners significantly increase electricity bills. Thus there is a lot of interest for air conditioners that consume less electricity for same amount of cooling output. On our website we get a lot of question from people who are looking to buy air conditioners. One of our most popular section on the website is on Top Ten Air Conditioners and some of the most common questions on that are: 1) What is the difference between BEE 5 star rated AC and Inverter Tech AC? 2) I want to buy a 1.5 ton Inverter Tech AC, which one should I buy? 3) I see high EER for certain ACs (above 10), are they better than others? 4) Are there windows AC available in the market with inverter technology? Below is the collection of responses that we have provided to people and we hope it helps many others.
Well Inverter Tech ACs are variable tonnage ACs, so mentioning a specific size in general does not make sense. But still manufacturers try to mention an average tonnage of the air conditioner to make it easy for people. Now again comparing the same analogy as mentioned above, if your waist size varies from 32 – 36, and you are trying to buy a fixed size trouser, you would buy one with size 36. But if you buy one with elastic, you would prefer buying one with something that can range between 32 and 36. Similarly if the average need of your room if of 1.5 ton, you would buy an AC that can operate between 1.2 ton & 1.8 ton, which will be the range of an inverter tech AC marked with 1.5 ton. But if your room’s max need is 1.5 ton, then you would want to buy an AC that can operate between 1 ton & 1.5 ton, which will be the range of an inverter tech AC marked with 1.2 ton. So it is very important to make sure that you are not buying something that is beyond the range. You can always use the calculator on this link to check what is the right size for you’re your room: http://sharpproducts.in/downloadsupport.aspx?id=21&cid=13.
Different regions have different units for calculating EER (or energy efficiency ratio). In Western countries EER is calculated in BTU/Watt x hour whereas in India EER is calculated in Watt/Watt. Values in BTU/W.hr are 3.41 times more than the values in Watt/Watt. Typically BEE 5 star rated ACs have EERs in the range of 3.1 and 3.3, so if an AC shows EER of 10 and above, make sure that you divide it by 3.41 to compare with BEE star rated ACs. Even Inverter Tech ACs cannot show EER of above 10 if mentioned in W/W. No there is no window Air Conditioner with inverter tech available in market. Will they be available in future? With this article we have tried to answer some of the common questions we get about inverter technology on this platform. But if you still have some doubts in your mind, feel free to drop in a note in the comments section below. We try to answer almost all the questions that we get on out site. Your questions and their responses will help you decide on the right AC and will also help others make up their minds.
