I have installed 2 of these Pioneer units in a home with mixed results.I also have HVAC training and so know what I am doing. Installation was less than six months ago. I read all of the reviews and asked all of the right questions. I thought this was the perfect unit. Works like a champ! Wasn't very had to install, thanks to YouTube! We put this in our bedroom. Works great to cool down our room.the only thing I dislike is the tempture read out is bright, if you have the unit on during the night, it's... easy to install works great .. After eight months of use, this AC unit is working well. Have not been disappointed the entire time we've had it. We had a local AC guy install it, and they had no problems. Very efficient and the heating and cooling is perfect! Well worth the money!! I ordered my Pioneer Mini Split during an unusually hot and humid time on the coast of San Diego. nothing but problems with this unit. its cheap for a reason. inside unit constantly leaked and had the HVAC guys there 4 times and now it is spitting water out through the fan into...
