The “red dot award” is said to be one of the world three biggest design awards and composed of three categories of “product”, “communication” and “concept”. In the “product” category, the screening is made for the excellent designs of the products marketed within the past 2 years around the world focusing on nine criteria including degree of innovation, functionality, design quality, ergonomics, durability, ecology. This year, there were 4,515 entries from 58 countries in the world and our thin-type air conditioner “LT / LU series” was awarded as a result of strict screening.

The awarding ceremony will be held in Essen, Germany on July 2 and the awarded products in 2012 will be exhibited at the special exhibition "red dot design museum".
