The encapsulated board mounted power supplies do not need a ground connection and are available in four power levels - 5W, 10W, 15W and 25W.  Efficiencies are as high as 88% and off-load power consumption is less than 0.5W. For designers of equipment used in environments where fan cooling is not viable, the PFE power modules offer the obvious solution. Suitable for outdoor enclosures or liquid cooled applications, these baseplate mounted power modules accept a wide range AC input and deliver isolated, regulated voltages with power levels from 300 to 1000W. High ambient temperatures can be easily tolerated as the units can be operated with baseplate temperatures of up to 100oC. Designed for medical and industrial applications that require robust, encapsulated, lightweight and compact power supplies, these sealed KMSA supplies resist dust, and humidity. The series is available in 15W, 30W and 60W power levels, with single output models covering the most common voltage combinations.
The Class II double insulated construction allows the product to be operated without an earth ground connection Rated at 350W with convection cooling, the medical and ITE certified CUS350M is ideal for applications where audible noise cannot be tolerated, including hospital, dental, broadcast and professional audio equipment. With efficiencies of up to 94%, the CUS350M meets the ErP Directive and consumes <0.5W in standby mode. The preferred “/F” suffix models have a 5V 0.5A standby output, an auxiliary 12V 0.3A output, remote sense, remote on/off and an isolated DC good signal. Based on TDK-Lambda's popular FPS1000, HFE1600 and HFE 2500 plug-in, hot swap power supplies, the RFE models have terminal block and bus bar connections and can be used without a rack. This allows these 1000W, 1600W and 2500W power supplies to be mounted close to the load, and being just 41mm, be located where space is at a premium. Available with 12V, 24V, 32V and 48V outputs, the outputs can be paralleled easily to privide more power.
