My other two units build up water in a small tank and when it's full the unit shuts down and as to be drained (about a pint). This new Honeywell 12CSE was advertised as passing all the water out the exhaust flex hose ( if it didn't it was going back) and it does, been using it for two weeks now and every drop of water is gone. The controls are very easy to use it's a touch system like a cell phone. Instead of using the window adapter that came with the unit I cut a sheet of heavy gauge aluminum to fit the window opening then using sheet metal screws anchored the sheet to the window frame. I then cut a opening in the aluminun to match the output hose adapter . The unit is very quiet and the cycle between A/C and air is very reliable.

Am going to have to mfg a new window screen as the old screen was cut to fit the old in window A/C unit and could not be salvaged. Walmart gave a five day delivery to store delivery but was there in three. It was so easy to install and it is so easy to use! It cools down my room within minutes! My boyfriend and I have to sleep with a fan on at all times anyways, for the noise, so the loudness of putting it on high did not bother us at all. It is actually very peaceful. If I have it running in the day time I only have to turn my TV up a little bit more than normal. There are 3 speed settings, but the low doesn't differ much from the high setting. I looked around everywhere for a decent A/C for a decent price, and I am so glad I got this one. It is worth every penny. However, when you order a "new" item, you don't expect the box to be open. When it came, they had put strapping tape around it to hold it together, but after cutting the tape we found that the whole bottom of the box had been scored all the way around and the top of the box just came right off. The machine is new, we checked it out, and the only thing we can think of is that it was a display model and they just packed it up and sent it to us. We live in Florida and we are using it in our garage which has not been converted, but has an insulated garage door. The unit cools the room down pretty fast and considering the heat outside (95 degrees on some days and 90 percent humidity), it gets it to a comfortable area (about 77 degrees).
