new air handling unit

Volume 40, Issue 5, 2008, Pages 896–905 Proposal for a new hybrid control strategy of a solar desiccant evaporative cooling air handling unita b Received 6 July 2007, Accepted 11 July 2007, Available online 25 July 2007Correctly controlled solar desiccant evaporative cooling is an interesting option for achieving savings in building air-conditioning consumption. The operation of this system (open loop cooling cycle) is strongly influenced by indoor and outdoor air conditions. This influence is characterized using numerical simulations. First the air conditioned room and the cooling system are simulated using a validated model of the desiccant wheel. Then the influence of each parameter of the desiccant air handling unit is evaluated. The third step is to assess the system cooling power for each operating mode with fluctuating outdoor and indoor air conditions. This allows for making relevant choices for a new control strategy taking into account both indoor and outdoor air conditions.
This control strategy is tested for a whole cooling season and compared to a reference compression system with promising results, allowing for energy savings of about 40% for French climate.25 year old ac unitCopyright © 2007 Elsevier B.V. ac unit outside not runningEnergy efficient AC solution: Buckingham Palace Road 123+151, London AC system for Six Semiconductores factory in BrazilSwimming pool AHU for Aquapark Minskcan a window ac unit be inside Air handling units - general Functional sections of AHU Automation and control equipment Compair CF, RW, FREE - general For our modular air handling units a request for selection software AirCalc++ can be sent to aircalc@lindab.si Eurovent modular AHUTÜV Hygiene requirements

Winner of ‘Datacentre Cooling Product of the Year’ in this year’s DCS (Data Centre Solutions) Awards the AireFlow™ is an innovative indirect adiabatic air handling unit, designed for use in data centre environments for optimal efficiency.Available in five footprints between 100 and 440kW, the AireFlow™ is designed for roof and wall connections and requires minimal mechanical cooling, delivering huge free-cooling potential to significantly reduce operational costs. No air mixing within the system prevents contaminants entering your data centre and eliminates the need for 100% DX back up cooling, which can be required in direct units if ambient air is contaminated and cannot be used.
