#344,175 in Home and Kitchen (See Top 100 in Home and Kitchen) This does not really have to be a long review to just let people know that assuming you don't have any shipping damage (as a few people have reported) this is a wonderful unit and works exactly as it says BUT what most people don't take time to read is that the HEATER is almost useless below 40 degrees, this is perfectly normal for a heat pump with no electric heat backup. My solution to this was to purchase an oil filled radiator type heater like this DeLonghi TRD0715T Safeheat 1500W Portable Oil-Filled Radiator with Vertical Thermal Tunnels (this one is exceptional and I have bought about 4 for myself, friends and work) which I only have to use when the temps are very low. BOTTOM LINE: This is a great item as long as you understand it is a exceptional AC unit and a great heater until it gets below 40ish degrees. I have unit in my rental house which is approx. 950 sq ft & a lot cheaper to use than fixing or putting in a diff heat/cool source..

I have had now for 3 yrs & works great... Awesome price, great delivery, fast shipping and will purchase again. I bought this unit several years ago to replace a failing unit. It was no trouble to mount and wire. It cranked right up with no problems. works very well as supplementary heat, but I haven't got my elect. cost of complete ac unitbill yet and haven't had the chance to use it for A/C, so my opinion now is premature.how long does a home ac unit last I am very pleased with my unit. window ac hot airI had one problem, which was corrected by Amazon. The pieces (screws and sidings) that came with the unit did not match the size unit I received. This unit meets all of our expectations. The only complaint concerns not the unit, but the shipping.
