According to the company, this can reduce AC costs anywhere from 20-40%, right from the get-go, and can pay for itself within the first season of use.Here's how it works:Because the water mist merely cools the outside condenser unit, it doesn't enter the home's air supply, so humidity levels won't rise inside the home (which might be a boon in arid regions, but is completely undesirable in humid areas). Only existing units installed in 2009 or prior are eligible for the rebate. Customers that have the device installed by a participating contractor will earn a $35 rebate per device. Important Dates and Deadlines If you purchased and installed your new equipment in 2016 (or you are planning to), you have until July 31, 2017 to submit your rebate application. Rebates take six weeks or more to process after your application is received. Rebates are processed individually; you will receive one check per application, if approved.
