Age 18-24 25-34 35-44 45-54 55-64 65 and older Gender Male Female Watched an online video by the manufacturer, and within minutes, I had cold-blowing air. It holds anywhere from 3-5 months on my car. I had problems finding the port on my car, so once I identified it, I took a photo of it (posted). I have a 2005 Scion XB. Hope it helps someone out there! You can't go wrong with this product! (Be sure and use the gloves, as can gets very cold). Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () First let me say that if your system is so low that your compressor is not coming on, you don't have to take the product back, or mess with the fuse box, I read all of the stuff on line too. A bit perplexed at having paid $44 for a fancy can with a gauge on it I first disconnected the positive lead from the battery and reconnected it. Let the car sit over night to cool off, then disconnected both battery cables and held them together for a couple of minutes. Reconnected them, hooked up my $44 can to the low side port, got inside making sure high fan and lowest temperature were selected.

I started it up and immediately the compressor kicked on and the can got cold. Moving it in the prescribed motion it took about 4 or 5 minutes and the a/c system in my 1994 Cadillac Concourse was as cold as it had ever been, and you spend more time turning the a/c fan down than up. Disconnect/reconnect battery if your computer has told your compressor to shut off. Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () Cost was actually $4 less than listed price...just a bonus. Since the low pressure port and high pressure port are different sizes, it is almost impossible to inject through the high pressure as the adapter/gauge won't fit on it anyway. Took me 1o minutes to recharge the system to blowing cold. The tutorial on the ac pro website will give confidence to any first timer. If there is a slow leak, it worth every cent. If there is a large leak, it will lose it's charge quickly. At least you will know if you need to take it to a service center or not. Many times they can't find the slow leak and will charge you double what this cost for the service fee, without even fixing anything.

Because of that I wasn't sure if this product would work since all the online resources I found said the compressor had to be running to recharge the system, but for $35 I figured it was worth a shot anyway.

As soon as I began refilling the system the compressor started cycling, and as I continued to fill it the compressor stayed on consistently! I was able to recharge the system within minutes and now it's blowing ice cold air. I deducted one star from my rating because the can only holds 20 oz, which was not quite enough to completely recharge the system in my case - it filled it to just a hair under the recommended range. Still, it recharged it more than enough to get it blowing nice cold air. If you're nervous about trying this yourself, watch their tutorial video. It really is as simple as the video shows. I was in a bind with my 2001 Ford Taurus A/C blowin' anywhere from warm, to warmer -- and we were coming right into the triple-digit temperature -- Las Vegas summer! The short story is; I couldn't even stand to get into the car and drive with my A/C like that, while outside it's about 102 to 112 degrees.

But life goes on... and I HAD to drive, right? So, I had been quoted "an arm and a leg" from the shop I took the car to. Then, I happen to catch a commercial for this product out of the corner of my eye, when just walking past a TV... Reading the review's here, it seemed to me it worked around maybe 70 to 80% of the time, but then a small percentage ended in disaster for the users. Well, I had too many other bills at the time to deal with the 400.00 to 700.00 bucks I was being quoted at the shop, so I decided to give 'A/C pro' a go. It turned out to be the best move I could have made! I followed the directions to the 't', and injected the whole-can -- within 5 to 10 minutes of running the system full-blast, my A/C was artic-cold !!! Suddenly driving the congested Las Vegas Boulevards and Freeways was a pleasure again -- instead of a nightmare! It's been 5 weeks now, and my Taurus's A/C is maybe a tad-less cool than when I first injected this product; but still icy-cold and a pleasure to be out there driving when it's 112-degrees out!

it's probably the best $40.00 (or so) I ever spent! I AM NOT affiliated with this product or company in any way. I'm just darn-tootin' glad I found their product! Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () I am fairly mechanically inclined but I will say this thing is totally simple to use. Just follow the instructions, step by step. If you have an older car that very slowly lost its ability to blow cold, this will probably do the trick; If your cooling system developed a large loss of cooling ability in a short amount of time, you probably have a big leak in your system and need to get that sorted otherwise the coolant you put into the system will just leak out and you will have wasted your money. I had an older car (1999) that I bought used and was unable to determine if the AC system had a leak prior to purchasing so I took a chance and filled up the AC system and its blowing nice and cool again after only about 3/4 of a bottle of this stuff. Anyway I rate it a 5 because it's basically idiot proof.

Spend the extra cash and get the PRO can. Better gauge and excellent quality. Watch youtube videos to give yourself some extra confidence on doing it yourself. This was my 1st attempt not counting the arctic freeze try. Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () I purchased this product to get some cold air in my vehicle since it only had a couple pin sized holes in the line, which the product claims it will seal "any" leak (total lie!!!). I had the product put in by a mechanic who has put in freon for many years and just two days later the air is hotter than it was before using the product! I emailed the company to tell them that their product didn't work and the reply I received was a basic to bad to sad that they don't care if their customers are satisfied or not. That was a total waste of money and time so now I think I will write the BBB and see what they say.
