Our central A/C had quit 2 years before, and we were melting. We had window units in the bedrooms, but the living room was still hot. We bought this unit at a local big box "club" store about a year or two ago as it was sitting on their open box shelf but perfectly packaged. The unit seems to work OK but the exhaust hose won't stay on.That means it actually will heat up the house. works perfect and other unit has been returned thank you. Returned.....big heavy piece of junk. This should have been checked before trying to sell it. Very good when you need it in summer like in winter Works great would buy another one. The air conditioner works fine except for the exhaust hose. It does not stay attached to the a/c unit and the window attachment. We are constantly using duct tape.
