Just pick the fan coil units that meet your design. Your Daikin representative will model your system in the manufacturer's selection software and match condensing units, size refrigerant lines and provide electrical information.Similar to chilled water design, we serve multiple indoor units from a common condensing unit. This allows diversity and redundancy of capacity. We adjust the flow of refrigerant to modulate capacity in response to the changing building heating/cooling demand.Refrigerant is the most efficient mechanism of heat transfer we have. We can move more BTU's per pound of refrigerant than any other means. (More than blowing cold air or pumping cold water). With VRV, we take the most efficient means of heat transfer and take the refrigerant directly to the load. VRV combines variable speed drive technology on compressors and fans. This allows efficient turn-down and incredible efficiency at part load. Digitally commutated motors and heat pump heating also contribute to the overall system efficiency.

Daikin controls are all factory packaged. Other systems require field installation and programming of devices, sensors, and unit controllers. With Daikin, the only control installation is connecting the control wiring between components.
