Do not buy this product. There are so many things wrong with this a/c, I don't know where to begin. The instruction manual has a 800 phone number that does not connect to anyone! We purchased this device for a detached garage with a small room. At 8000 btu it was more than adequate to keep the room usable for long term storage of things.Bought this baby twice! Arrived dented and beat up. worked but noisy as hell. As many of the other reviews state, this unit is great in theory. In actual execution, not so much.Believe the other reviews when they tell you it's loud.Quirky doesn't support their own product when the warranty runs expires. I had the main power board go up 2 weeks outside of the warranty and after calling the support... Lasted one year and one month, buy the extra warranty This ac is pretty awesome in theory but there are definite areas of improvement that I hope Quirky will think about.Doesn't cool my room at all. The blue light is very bright and I couldn't get the app to work on it.
