The LSE Growth Commission aims to provide the authoritative contribution to the formulation and implementation of a long-term growth strategy in the UK. A key feature of the commission's operation has been a series of evidence sessions, each focusing on an individual topic, whose proceedings have been made publicly available as a permanent record of the commission. Investing for Prosperity: Skills, Infrastructure and innovation is the end product. It articulates the views of the commission on how to improve the growth performance of the UK economy in a sustainable way. On 3 September 2013, the LSE Growth Commission published a book, Investing for Prosperity: A Manifesto for Growth.
