Check the website of the Express Buses Network to check the timetable and prices. Had a great time! We had just a few days and wanted to take a beach break. The cottage is right in the middle of town, walking distance to many of the restaurants and shops. Cute and well supplied--it had everything we needed. The yard was very convenient with our dog. And the beach was just a short distance, best reached via car or golf cart. A prior review had said the shower wasn't working but it was fine for us, albeit quite small (large/tall people may have difficulty).

While the only AC unit was in the living room, we turned on a table fan in that room and directed the cool air to the bedroom. We would definitely stay there, again! In my opinion, staying in such a tiny cottage for the price we paid was a little over the top. Considering it was the last week of August and the town was unwinding, nothing major was going on. The cottage was cozy and offered all the amenities as advertised. It was convenient to the beach, beach shops, restaurants and local nightly entertainment. With that said, it was a nice reprevive for my wife and I. Our negative experience was centered on the cleanliness of the unit. It was just as dirty as it could be. The amount we paid per night, was nothing short of a 5 star rate. However, 5 star hotels would not get by with letting their property be that dirty. My husband and I stayed a few nights at the Palm Breeze Cottage and had a great experience! We were a little apprehensive due to some of the previous reviews, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and so glad we gave it a chance.

We definitely recommend this property for its great location, price, and dog friendliness!! We will be coming back soon. Neglected Dirty Little Cottage We just returned from our five-night-stay at the Palm Breeze Cottage at Spanish Village. I booked it online based on the images posted on HomeAway and that it was pet friendly. Overall, it met our basic needs, and the location was central to everything in Port Aransas, but looking back on the experience, we could have chosen a better place to stay. In the images online, you're presented with a clean, remodeled, gulf coast cottage. In realty, the place was too grungy and we expected more for what we were paying. The AC wall unit would not cool the entire place down and the bedroom side of the cottage was uncomfortably warm at night making it hard to sleep. The bathroom lacked a window that opened or a ventilation fan. The shower was hardly functioning with only a trickle of water. The back yard was littered with a lot of old-dog-poop, which I had to remove as soon as we arrived to keep our puppy from playing with it and dragging it into the cottage.

The landscaping was so overgrown and neglected to say the least. There was an infestation of ants everywhere outside, and a couple of times our puppy crawled under the bed and came out with a huge cock roachin his mouth! Again, the complete opposite of the images posted online. This cottage had a somewhat abandoned look and feel to it. I would not choose this place again. The other cottages available at Spanish Village seemed to be in better condition and repair. My husband and I stayed here for the weekend and really enjoyed the property. We were able to bring our small dog which was a must for us. The fenced in yard was great for privacy and for having our dog with us. The cottage was very clean and cozy. However, I am only giving 4 stars because of our experience with the shower. The shower was hot or cold, not warm. If the shower gets fixed I would definitely stay here again. Very cute and cozy!
