Our industrial air chillers are available in a variety of configurations – packaged with a pump and tank, portable, stationary, without pumps or tanks and split units. Standard units are in stock and all units are customizable. Air Cooled Chillers are often an excellent process cooling option to water cooled chillers because they are closed loop systems.

Closed loop systems have the ability to offer instantaneous cooling to plant processes as well as offer significant savings in water usage by recirculating coolant/water. Our air cooled chillers are designed to be ‘plug and play’ for ease of operation. The plug and play design closed loop systems are designed to minimize maintenance costs lowering the lifetime cost of the unit. The majority of regular maintenance that needs to be performed on an air cooled chiller is the cleaning of the condenser, maintaining water PH level of 7, and ensuring proper air flow around the unit is maintained. We can offer a solution to any cooling application with a packaged, out of box solution or a competitively priced customized unit. Hundreds of thousands of people were displaced in a matter of days. One and a half years later there were still numerous large scale projects that had not even begun in an attempt to get New Orleans back on its feet. One of those projects was the reconstruction of Thurgood Marshall Middle School.

Completely destroyed from the hurricane, Thurgood Marshall was on a fast track for reconstruction in time for the beginning of the new 2007-2008 school year. Jebco Heating and Air Conditioning was assigned as the mechanical contractor for the Thurgood Marshall project. Jebco was tasked with the replacement of flooded and aging mechanical equipment for the school. Jebco worked within extremely compressed timelines since the project had to be completed in time for the re-opening of the new school year. The scope of the project was a water source hot water heating and chilled water cooling solution including: 12 ton rooftop unit electric heat with air conditioning 2X1.5 million BTU hydronic boilers with fan coils for heating 2X60 ton chillers for air conditioning Split system condensing units Resurrected as a charter school, Thurgood Marshall was completely finished for the new school year. Jebco completed its portion of the project ahead of schedule and within budget, under very difficult time constraints.

The general contractor, CSI International stated, “Jebco performed flawlessly in this pivotal project for the District and the people of New Orleans.” Jebco – Service · Timberline Church was founded in 1921 by people wanting to reach out to the community. Timberline Church is affiliated with the Assemblies of God. Timberline planned a major addition to their existing church building to support their growth and they needed a heating and air conditioning system that would integrate with their existing system in the church. Jebco was selected from several subcontractors to provide the mechanical expertise for the new addition to the church. The mechanical system was electric DX cooling and gas heating for the new addition, which needed to be fully integrated with the existing system. In addition to the new installation requirements, Jebco also provided a temporary heating solution during construction. The complete mechanical design included: 40 ton gas fired packaged rooftop unit

2X5 ton rooftop units 2X10 ton rooftop units Hot water fan coils tied in to existing building Multiple split air handlers and condensing units Multiple ductless split heat pumps Temporary heat for construction As in most large mechanical projects, Jebco was faced with a compressed timeline to complete the project. Jebco completed their project on time and within budget. In fact, Jebco was the first contractor of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades to complete their work with the least amount of “punch list” requirements from the general contractor. Headquartered in Bethesda, Md., Lockheed Martin employs about 140,000 dedicated men and women worldwide. Lockheed Martin is a premier systems integrator principally in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services. One of Lockheed’s critical facilities in Littleton, Colorado required replacement of thirty-four rooftop units without any disruption to normal operations.

As a result, they needed a reliable mechanical company to perform this work in a timely fashion. A global contractor of facilities services enlisted the expertise of Jebco for this large replacement effort at Lockheed. Jebco had completed tenant finish and exhaust projects successfully for other Lockheed facilities including Lockheed Space Systems Company with a strong reputation for performance before being awarded the project. They were brought in on the Lockheed project because the replacement work had to be done in a timely manner without any downtime as a seamless conversion during replacement of the systems. The scope of this project included: 34 gas fired packaged replacement rooftop units 9×7.5 ton rooftop units 4X5 ton rooftop units 3X4 ton rooftop units 16X3 ton rooftop units The Jebco team performed beyond expectations, as all rooftop units were replaced at a rate of three per day to complete the project in a timely manner. In addition, the Jebco team completed the project without any disruption or downtime at this critical Lockheed facility.
